Jaiden

Hi, my name is Jaiden. I’ve been coming to Maui Hui Malama for 4 years now where I’ve done art classes, fishing, and camping. Now I’m in the Youth Entrepreneurship Program. What I like about YEP is learning how to make and manage money. I also like drawing, going to work at pop-up shops, and sometimes we go to Oʻahu to sell also. What I’ve learned so far is learning how to use the laser cutter, how to work as a team, and how to attract customers to our store.

What inspires me are my parents and helpers, and I love that Maui is beautiful and has beautiful people. Above is one of my designs, Shaka Bomb. I created him because I wanted him to go around spreading aloha and letting people know they’re not alone.
